The signature heel is inspired by a ceiling rose - the ornate plasterwork found in stately homes. During Tudor times, a rose carved into the ceiling above a meeting table symbolised the freedom to speak plainly without repercussion.

Re-created by a master jeweller in Italy using a traditional lost-wax process, the cameo brooch is based on Simona’s own treasured family heirloom.

Popularised during Victorian times, and a favourite item of jewellery of Queen Victoria herself, cameos became a symbol of luxury.
